POLICE are appealing for witness after a man fell from a taxi in Barnoldswick and suffered serious head injuries.
At 5-10am on Saturday, officers were called to Colne Road after a 29-year-old man had somehow fallen from a moving taxi.
The man is currently in a critical condition at Royal Preston Hospital with significant head injuries.
The man was with another man and a woman at the time, however police are still trying to establish exactly what happened.
Sgt Gareth Hill said: “We have spoken with the people with this man at the time, as well as the taxi driver, however we still need to piece together the exact circumstances surrounding this incident.
“We believe a Vauxhall Zafira, or similar type of people carrier, was travelling directly behind the taxi before the incident and would urge the occupants of this vehicle to contact police.”
