Staff members at Hairforce hairdressers in Barrowford, Karen Paley-Smyth, Claire Byrne and Sam Gordon, held a “Feel Good, Look Good Evening” in aid of Pendleside Hospice, managing to raise a wonderful £401.
The women decided to hold this charity event to raise funds for Pendleside Hospice and to promote their newly available beauty treatments.
The event was held at Hairforce in King Edward Terrace. With wine and cheese served throughout the evening, there were tanning treatments by Sam and hot stone massage and callus foot treatment demonstrations by Claire. There were also handbags, jewellery, scarves and clothes sold on the evening with all profits given to Pendleside Hospice. A raffle was held and donations were taken on the night which all helped to boost the fabulous amount raised!
Claire said: “Thank you to everyone that came on the night. It was a brilliant turn out with over 50 people in attendance.”
