A teenager was airlifted to hospital following a two car collision in Colne yesterday afternoon.
The girl was taken to Royal Preston Hospital with spinal injuries following the incident in North Valley Road. The helicopter set off from Intershape Fitness Centre, in Vivary Way, shortly after 3-30pm.
Police confirmed that one car had crashed into the back of another car, and that drivers had been left “shaken”. The collision was logged as “damage only”.
North West Air Ambulance were unable to confirm the age of the teenager involved.
