A Nelson pub which closed its doors for the last time earlier this year is to be auctioned in Manchester on Thursday.
The Prince of Wales in Leeds Road is due to go under the auctionner’s gavel at the Etihad Stadium – home of Manchester City FC.
Over the last few years, the pub had opened and closed several times in a series of unsuccessful bids to keep it going.
The property is described as a two-storey vacant former pub with ground floor trading area and four-bedroom residential accommodation.
In documents to the auction, the property is said to have development potential subject to obtaining any necessary consents.
The property will be sold with the benefit of a Premises Licence.
