A large congregation of around 100 joined The Archbishop of York Dr John Sentamu at Holy Trinity Church in Barnoldswick on Friday afternoon.
Dr Sentamu was in Barlick as part of two days out and about in the Bradford Diocese and he was joined by the Bishop of Bradford Nick Baines on his travels. The Archbishop blessed a stone to be situated at the new Barnoldswick CE Primary School currently under construction and answered questions from the audience. This was after a visit to Rolls-Royce’s Bankfield site, somewhere which he described as an “amazing plant”.
