Colne Post Office will close for over two weeks as it undergoes a major refurbishment.
The Albert Street branch will be shut from 5-30pm on Wednesday and will re-open from 1pm on Friday, January 31st. Customers are advised to use Barrowford Post Office and Skipton Road Post Office while work takes place.
Its modernisation is part of a three-year investment programme, which will see it given the longer opening hours of 8-30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5-30pm on Saturday.
As part of the plans, the Britannic House building will also now have four serving positions. These will be a mix of three traditional screened serving positions and one Post Office serving point at the retail counter.
