Three men have been charged as part of a joint investigation by GMP and Lancashire Constabulary into the child sexual exploitation of a girl from Bury.
On Friday, April 26th, 2013, officers executed warrants at three addresses in Nelson, Lancashire, and an address in Prestwich in relation to offences against a girl who was 15 at the time and which took place in Greater Manchester in August 2012 and Lancashire in January 2013.
Suleman Memon (19) of Windsor Road, Prestwich, has been charged with two counts of rape of a 15-year-old girl and theft.
Hassan Ali (20), currently of Forest Bank Prison, has been charged with the rape of a 15-year-old girl and theft.
Irslaan Nowkhaiz (18) of Mansfield Crescent, Brierfield, has been charged with sexual touching.
All are due to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates’ Court on February 7th.
No further action was taken against a fourth man, aged 19.
