A domestic double garage in Nelson went up in flames early in the morning, resulting in two cars wrecked and a third damaged.
The fire happened this morning (Monday) at 2-44am and two fire engines from Nelson went along to the incident on Manchester Road when it was well alight.
Crew Manager Lee Garnett said: “The garage contained two cars that were destroyed by the fire. Firefighers used a power-cutting saw to take off the garage door and entered in breathing apparatus to extinguish the vehicles.
“Two hose reels and a jet were used. A third vehicle was damaged by the heat from the fire.”
And there was 50% damage to the big garage, too.
