Business Secretary Vince Cable is to visit the site of a major mill redevelopment in Pendle this afternoon.
Mr Cable is to look round Brierfield Mills, the former Smith and Nephew factory for which major plans were revealed in December.
These would see the 19th Century building transformed into a range of different uses, including a hotel, flats, restaurant, cafe, pub, gallery, business centre and managed workspace.
Mr Cable’s visit to Brierfield comes at the end of a day in Burnley, where he has visited several businesses and opened a new business park.
