Four candidates will contest the Pendle Council by-election next month in the Blacko and Higherford ward.
The Conservatives, who held the seat until the enforced suspension of former Mayor Shelagh Derwent last month after she did not attend meetings for six months, will be represented by Noel McEvoy.
Labour’s candidate will be local party official Robert Oliver.
Former Burnley councillor Darren Reynolds is the Liberal Democrat candidate.
And the UK Independence Party will be represented by Michael Waddington.
Voters go to the polls on Thursday, April 3rd.
