Prince Andrew spoke of the “great opportunity” for students studying at Burnley’s new University Technical College when he addressed them at the end of his official visit.
The Duke of York unveiled a plaque at the Visions Learning Trust facility, which offers technical education for 14-19 year olds, specialising in construction and engineering.
The Mayor of Burnley, Coun. Frank Cant, welcomed Prince Andrew who was later presented with a set of four gold golf tees, made by students at the college.
