Police are investigating a possible arson attack on a car in Brierfield last night.
Firefighters were called out around 10-30pm to the fierce blaze in Elland Road with the car straddling the road and pavement.
A spokesman at Nelson Fire Station said: ”It is being investigated as a possibly deliberate car fire, and it is being investigated by the police as well as us. It was badly damaged.”
No one was hurt in the incident.
