Children can join a storytelling workshop with a best-selling author from Pendle during the Easter holidays.
Children’s writer Katie Daynes has published 50 books, including the bestseller “See Inside Your Body” and a compelling book telling the true story of the Titanic.
She’ll be leading workshops at La Dolce Vita, the Italian deli on Albert Road, Colne, on Thursday, April 17th, with a session for four to seven-year-olds from 10am until noon and one for seven to 11-year -olds from 1pm to 3pm.
Katie said: “I’ll be helping children to write their own stories with some useful story telling techniques and then design covers for them.
“They’ll also see the journey a book makes from the blank page to completed book on the shelf which I hope they’ll find fascinating.”
Tickets for the workshops are £6.50 per child including Italian biscotti and limonata and can be booked via the deli on 866008, on Facebook: La Dolce Vita, Colne or simply by calling in.
