Pendle MP Andrew Stephenson will be discharged from hospital today after an 11-day stay.
Mr Stephenson has undergone emergency surgery to remove a perforated gangrenous appendix, and will spend the next couple of weeks recovering at home.
On his Twitter page, it states that no advice surgeries will be held during April, and the MP has asked residents to contact staff at his office on 614748 if he can be of any assistance.
Today he wrote: “11 days after I was admitted to hospital looking forward to being discharged today. Huge thanks to all the NHS staff.”
