The Colne and West Craven Fund-raisers for Cancer Research UK will be joined by a specialist cancer nurse as they continue to raise awareness in the borough.
The group, who last year raised £6,864.54 for their chosen charity, have been outside Colne Market Hall’s “Glass House” throughout the week.
They will carry on with their work at the venue tomorrow, handing out leaflets about different types of cancer, and inviting residents to join in with games and fun activities.
A spokesman said: “It is a great opportunity for anyone who may be worried, or just interested in the research that is going on to come along and have a chat.”
The group’s next event is their annual “Teas in the Park”. To be held at Sough Park on Sunday, June 22nd. the event will include a variety of stalls, a performance from Earby Brass Band, a fun Bowls competition and delicious teas.
