A former church and a detached vacant mill are among buildings set to go under the hammer in Manchester this month.

Zion Works, in Colne, and Black Carr Mill, in Trawden, will be up for auction at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium on Thursday.

Zion Works, which is located at the intersection of Zion Street and Exchange Street, has a guide price of between £80,000 to £100,000.

While Black Carr Mill, in Skipton Road, Trawden, is expected to realise between £240,000 to £260,000.

The Stanley Villas site, a former council day centre in Albert Road, Colne, will also be up for grabs at the public auction.

Zion Works is described as a “detached former church premises which has been converted to a workshop and office premises” and Black Carr Mill is said to be a “part vacant detached mill and industrial property”.

Part of the three storey mill’s property is let out, with a current rent reserved of £9,000 per year.
