The site of a former Pendleside carpet factory with permission for a large-scale housing development is on the market – at two and a half million pounds!
Plans for the development of Spen Brook Mill, once home to carpet firm William Pownall and Sons, were passed by Pendle Council’s Development Management Committee in February, after local councillors had earlier refused planning permission.
The permission is for the conversion of part of the mill into 10 homes and the demolition of other buildings to make way for a further 18 houses.
