News that hospitals in Burnley and Blackburn have been taken out of special measures is to be welcomed - but with a word of caution.
Standards of care and management have certainly taken a turn for the better in the last 12 months, but there is still some way to go before they can be given a full clean bill of health by inspectors.
Now is certainly not the time to rest on any laurels and the new management team will face many more challenges in the months ahead.
But at least progress is being made.
