DETECTIVES have seized more than £110,000 after swooping on two cars in Barrowford.
Police stopped the cars outside New Bridge Chippy in Nora Street at 5-05 p.m. on Monday, June 11th.
A subsequent search of the cars, followed by a number of raids on properties across Nelson, led to officers recovering the money.
A 39-year-old man, a 43-year-old man, a 16-year-old boy and a 36-year-old woman, all from Nelson, were arrested along with a 66-year-old man, from Hertfordshire, on suspicion of money laundering.
All five have been released on police bail until September 6th.
