A key new holiday facility has been officially opened in Pendle, giving people the chance to stay there.
Boothman Park at Barley has been a fishing facility for years but is now providing holiday locations in the heart of the countryside.
Its owner, Mr Frank Wren, welcomed the guests at the opening ceremony, and it was officially opened by Lord Lee, who was a Nelson and Colne MP then Pendle MP - then John Lee - for 13 years and was a Tourism Minister, too.
Also there was Pendle’s current MP Andrew Stephenson and Lancashire Constabulary’s Chief Inspector Abid Khan. And you can see all four of them talking about the exciting holiday boost.
The police also encourage young people from Pendle’s town centres to come out there to spend some healthy time in the countryside.
