Police have appealed for information after a man was robbed of his MP3 player while out jogging in Nelson.
The 25-year-old victim was running along the canal path off Reedyford Road, Nelson, at approximately 7-15pm on Saturday when a man jumped out of the bushes and punched and kicked the jogger to the floor.
The offender is described as an Asian male, aged between 25 and 30, with short black hair and was wearing an a black Adidas hooded top with his hood down.
The runner’s Sony Vaio MP3 player and earphones worth £50 were stolen and he was left with bruises and a bleeding nose. The offender ran off in the direction of Asda.
