A two-day karaoke marathon is being held this weekend at Brierfield Liberal Club.
The weekend will feature two 12-hour sessions tomorrow and on Sunday, beginning at 11am each day.
The event, which will be opened and closed by John and Penny Clough, the parents of murdered Barrowford nurse Jane Clough, will raise funds for abused people through the Pendle Domestic Violence Initiative.
It will also help to raise awareness of Mr and Mrs Clough’s on-line petition to get the Government to discuss a stalkers’ register.
Jane was stabbed repeatedly in the car park of the Blackpool hospital where she worked by former partner Jonathan Vass in 2010.
The Liberal Club has already donated £100 to the cause and hundreds of pounds worth of raffle prizes have been donated by local businesses.
