A creative Colne teenager has used her craft-making talents to raise money for Pendleside Hospice.
Katie Bowater (13), of Cliff Street, raised £73.45, after holding her own stall at Clitheroe Artisan Market.
The Park High School student, who sold loom band animals, hand made jewellery and fossils, has now been thanked for her efforts.
Katie said: “I decided to raise money for Pendleside Hospice because it’s an important place to my family. My Grandad was cared for by the hospice at home team and they also looked after another family member.”
And fund-raiser Vikki Haydock added: “Katie did a fantastic job making things and raising money for the hospice. We’re seeing more and more children coming in with money they’ve raised and that’s a great thing to see.”
Youngsters wanting to raise money for the hospice can get in touch with Pendleside Hospice’s fund-raising team, who can provide them with posters and buckets.
