Artists, craftspeople and designers will be part of a unique Arts and Vintage shop opening in Nelson in December – and there’s a final call for creative traders, before it’s full!
Called simply The Shop, it will transform the old post office on New Scotland Road into a creative emporium where people can buy, sell and browse and take part in workshops.
It will be a place where people can come for coffee and buy beautiful unique things from pre-loved vintage clothing and furniture to jewellery and original art.
Kirsty Rose, Arts Development Officer for the Pendle Leisure Trust who’s leading on the project said: “Work is going on at all hours to get this inspiring place ready to open its doors at the Arts and Vintage Festival on Saturday and Sunday, December 6th and 7th.
“But the big difference is that it will stay open after the festival!
“Already inspiring artists and creative people have signed up to join The Shop.
“We’re now putting out a final call for a few more so that it’s full of wonderful things by opening day,” she said.
Anyone interested in being part of The Shop should ring Kirsty on 661784 or 07815 962190.
