Colne residents with any information about a missing mum and son are being urged to step forward.
Simona Valyte (28), who has links to Colne, Greater Manchester and Lincolnshire. went missing with her four-year-old son Domantas Cerapokas on Tuesday, October 11th.
Domantas was last seen at his home in Trafalgar Grove, Lower Broughton, Salford, where his mum had picked him up to take him to the local park.
Despite extensive enquiries, both have not been found and police are appealing for anyone who may know where they are, to contact them.
Domantas’ dad, Audrius Cerapokas said: “I have looked after my little boy since he was six-months-old and he means the world to me.
“He fills my days with laughter but since he went missing my days have been filled with nothing but despair.
“I would appeal to anyone who may know where he is to contact police.
“I would also appeal directly to his mum to bring my baby back to me.”
Det. Chief Insp. Clare Devlin said: “Understandably Domantas’ dad is sick with worry and just wants his little boy to be returned to where he belongs.
“We are very concerned about his welfare and his safety, and are concerned about the amount of time he has been missing. If anyone knows where he is, please phone us.”
Anyone with information should phone police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
