The Parish of The Good Shepherd, which covers the Catholic churches in Nelson, Colne and Barrowford, has organised a commemorative evening for World War 1 to be held at the Muni in Colne on Wednesday.
The event starts at 7-30pm and all proceeds are for Help for Heroes.
It will feature entertainment provided by Stage Door Theatre and Colne Youth Theatre with poetry, plenty of singing including a Military Wives choir featuring ladies of the parish and Joe Winkley as accompanist. MC for the evening is Andrew Husband.
