Shaun Michael Threlfall (20), of Ann Street, Barrowford has been disqualified from driving for 12 months pleading guilty to drink driving.
Burnley Magistrates’ Court heard that Threlfall was stopped while driving his vehicle in Regent Street in Nelson in the early hours of November 2nd.
Andrew Robinson (prosecuting) told the court that a police officer had noticed two passengers in the car were not wearing seatbelts, but when Threlfall was breathalysed, he blew 58 micrograms, more than the legal limit of 35.
Joanne Haselden (defending) told the hearing Threlfall had pleaded guilty at the first opportunity and admitted it was “foolish”.
As well as the 12 month ban, Threlfall was fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
