An exclusive state-of-the-art private training facility has been officially opened in Colne.

Aspire Personal Training, based within Calder House, in Spring Lane, is run by personal trainer and local firefighter Andy Pickard, formerly of Pendle Leisure Trust.

The gym specialises in body transformations and tailored health and fitness goals, and offers private training sessions to clients from all backgrounds and fitness levels.

The opening was made official by special guest Helen Kalan, one of Aspire Personal Trainings success stories, who had previously just returned home from Rome, Italy, where she was competing in the IBFA World Bodybuilding Championships.

Helen Kalan’s trainer Andy said: “It was a real honour to have Helen officially open my gym. I have trained Helen right from day 1 when she exercised for the first time, three years ago. Since then she has gone on to do incredible things, at 50-years-old competing on stage against the best physiques in the world.

“It has been a long process trying to launch Aspire and without the help of lots of people this wouldn’t have been possible. We have a created a unique one on one environment where the focus is 100% about the client.”
