Strong winds and heavy rain have caused difficult driving conditions for motorists this morning.
In Sabden a tree blew down around midnight last night in Whalley Road while in Read Whins Lane was blocked by a fallen tree.
Surface water on the M65 also caused hazardous conditions although police said they had not had reports of any accidents caused by the weather in the Burnley area.
