The swimming pool at Pendle Leisure Centre will be closed for six weeks to enable major refurbishment work to be carried out.
The work at the Colne centre will include the installation of new changing rooms, showers and lockers and better changing facilities are to be created for families and disabled customers.
The poolside area closed at the weekend and will reopen on Tuesday, May 28th.
The Feelgood Factory, gym and all exercise classes will not be affected and will continue to operate as normal while the work is being carried out.
