Earby Clarets has donated a total of £1,000 to “Operation Oliver”, the bid to get a Barlick toddler the life-changing procedure he needs which will enable him to walk.
A donation of £500 was initially made at the Greyhound pub in Barnoldswick in April but the Clarets came back and said they wanted to donate another £500 as funds continue to grow for two-year-old Oliver Rushton’s operation.
Oliver, who suffers with spastic diplegia, requires a process called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy, which will cost between £25,000 and £45,000 depending where he has it done.
