Tracy Wilkinson and Sacred Heart Primary School deputy headteacher Joanne Edwards have shared the story of little Olivia Wilkinson (5) in a bid to raise awareness and quash a stereotype that can be attached to the genetic condition.
While Mrs Wilkinson admits that that it is “not all roses” and that Olivia can take longer to reach her milestones, she is keen to stress that she is just as funny, cheeky and mischievous as any other child her age.
