Nursery Time have relocated its business to prime retail premises at Number One Market Street in the centre of Nelson.
The popular nursery shop had been based in Barrowford for the last 12 years before owner Diane Griffith felt the time was right to take the business forward with a town centre relocation.
Diane said: “Since our move in the middle of March we have already seen a very promising increase in both footfall and sales.
“We have joined the Nelson Traders group and we’re positive that with our expanding range we can do our bit to encourage more shoppers into the town centre.
“We’re open seven days a week – Monday and Tuesday 9-30am to 4pm, Wednesday to Saturday 9-30am to 5pm, and Sunday 11am to 4pm. We look forward to seeing both old and new customers popping in to have a look at our new stock.”
Nursery Time are one of the top 20 distributors of prams for mamas and papas, Silvercross, Icandy and Maxi Cosi. The shop stocks a huge selection of toys, bedding, furniture, baths and safety equipment with an even bigger selection available to order.
Tracy Clavell-Bate, sales and lettings manager at Barnfield Construction Ltd said: “We’re delighted to have let the final retail unit at Number One Market Street to Nursery Time. We’re pleased to be helping Diane to grow her business in a town centre with the large footfall and the free parking Nelson benefits from.”
