Pupils from Wheatley Lane primary school took victory in High Five Netball to seal their place at this year’s SPAR Lancashire School Games county finals in Blackpool in July.
The team competed against nine schools from Pendle to finish in first place, and will progress to the School Games County Final, where the pupils will compete against other netballers from across Lancashire.
Neil Stewart, Pendle School Games Organiser, said: “Well done to all schools who took part in the High Five Netball tournament. The event proved a challenging and exciting experience for all.
“Many thanks to the girls from Fisher-More and Park High Schools who umpired all the games so confidently.
“Congratulations again to Wheatley Lane who were deserving winners, winning all six games they played.
We are all looking forward to cheering them on in the county final along with the rest of Pendle hopefuls.”
