A popular annual event is set to commemorate the First World War in its centenary year.
Trawden Garden Festival and Scarecrow Trail will take place on July 12th and 13th, and this year will bring the community together to remember those who fought 100 years ago.
Children from Trawden Forest Primary School are busy making poppies for a trail around the village, and a display in the homes of soldiers who lost their lives.
There will be a vintage double decker bus, courtesy of the Keighley Bus Museum, which will start at the bus stop at Cotton Tree Lane, and do a circular route to the Trawden Terminus, at a price of £1 per adult weekend ticket (free for children).
On top of this, there will be the usual craft fair, rides and cafes, as well as open gardens, children’s decorated wellies and creative scarecrows.
Rock-It! the award-winning dance troupe from Helen Green School of Dance will also be providing entertainment over the weekend.
A Swing Dance will be put on the night before the festival, which includes a pie and pea supper and entertainment from Josh Hindle for £7.50.
