The jury in the trial of a man charged with the murder of a former Pendle schoolgirl has been sent out to consider its verdict.
Jayden Parkinson, a former Colne Primet High School pupil, was killed by Ben Blakeley in Oxfordshire in December after she told him she was expecting his child.
Blakeley then buried her body in his uncle’s grave, assisted by his brother, in a Didcot cemetery, Oxford Crown Court has been told.
Blakeley (22) denies murder but has admitted to manslaughter and perverting the course of justice.
His brother Jake (17) also admits to perverting the course of justice but denies preventing a lawful burial.
