A 43-year-old man was airlifted to hospital with a suspected broken left arm after a collision between a scooter and a car in Kelbrook.
The accident occurred at approximately 5pm on Tuesday involving a red Ford Ka and a red Piaggio scooter close to the Old Stone Trough pub in Colne Road.
The man was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital by Air Ambulance and Colne Road was closed for an hour while recovery work took place. It was reopened shortly after 6pm.
