Former Habergham High School head David Clayton will be missed by former pupils, colleagues and friends alike.
I had the good fortune to get to know him very well during his time at Habergham.
He was very much old school. He set himself and his students high standards earning his school an enviable reputation in local and regional education circles.
Educated at Oxford, David had the ability to mix with all types, liking nothing better than a coffee and pie while watching his beloved Clarets. He was a headmaster the likes of which we see all too rarely nowadays.
