A brown leather purse containing bank cards and a small amount of cash was stolen from the staff area of Barrowford Library in Ann Street between 10am and 10-30am on Saturday.
Police have a description of a white male in his 40s they would like to trace. He is of thin build, with short dark hair and was wearing a scruffy looking T-shirt and tracksuit bottoms.
