A second crash took place on Burnley Road, Colne, causing another total closure.
After Sunday’s accident in which the road was blocked for around four hours, this afternoon (Tuesday) two cars were in collision.
And one woman driver had to be rescued by the fire and ambulance services. But it was later revealed it was not too bad - minor injuries.
The accident happened between Cuerden Street and New Street at around 4pm.
The victim was taken to hospital and the road re-opened within an hour. The other woman driving was not hurt.
